It’s a wheel mystery… Solved!

After a bit if messing about on the computer one day we managed to find out what those wheels were.
😀
BBS RA ! We got there in the end. They were a tuv approved accessory from the 80’s. They measure 6.5×14 and have an offset of ET22 and were designed to run with 205/70R14 tyres. Weirdly they have a different part number for the front and the rear, the front being RA257 and the rear being RA259, this was something to do with the figment as on a 2wd they have bolts at the front and nuts on the rear. This set came from a syncro and as far as I’m told they were on the van from new so maybe these are a set of 4 259’s as syncro wheel fittings are all nuts.
Pretty cool as I have the centre caps to go with them, but I have never seen another set!

Nice advert, van is the same colour as my syncro too, the van would have looked pretty cool back in 86 sporting those.
This does bring up a quandry though, what to do with them? They came with the van but they no longer fit as they won’t go over my massive brakes!
