As if I don’t have enough to do.
Off to pastures new for a while, hopefully it comes back all shiney and straight.
Reasonably exciting. Really thick steel, I could be scientific and measure them, rack of the eye will do for me!
I bought this flap lock about 12 years ago, had it kicking around, never fitted it.
Found it the other day along with the bezel and escutcheon, seemed a shame to leave it in its box so we quickly fitted it before it goes for paint.
Pressure of the van going to the paint shop was enough to kick me to try and make the inlet side air tight so I don’t end up with an engine full of filler dust!
I have to admit I’m not that pleased with this but needs must.
With the turbo in a slightly different place I’ve had to remove the braided section from a new hose and lengthen it a little to get it to fit. I’ll send it back to the manufacturer at some point for them to copy for me but with stainless steel braided Teflon.
